“This was one of Tony Wilson's babies and we put this poster together in my studio in Ancoats. He was really enthusiastic about this night to showcase local bands. The poster was crammed with text and he wanted it producing in a matter of days. Good times! (Big thanks to Mark Rhodes and Alex ??)”

She was loved by many and had a big fan club, but made a few hi-nrg hits, the main one being 'Paris is for Lovers'. I still have Avril's original signed contract for the event somewhere ...”

“Another one of the flyers produced from my studio in Ancoats (New Islington)! We would use the framework and simply replace the typesetting in the middle. This was given the special treatment because it was 'gay' and therefore had the expense of having a screened image on it as well. The cyan blue ink was from our standard Gestetner range and printed live in Ancoats!”
